Professor Yaron Arbel is both a senior interventional cardiologist  and is the Director of the CardioVascular Research Center (CVRC) at the Tel Aviv Medical Center (the main hospital complex serving Tel Aviv, Israel). In addition, he is a full clinical professor of cardiology at the Tel Aviv University. 

Professor Arbel completed his medical training with distinction in both internal medicine and cardiology at the Tel Aviv Medical Center and continued, on a two-year fellowship, in interventional cardiology at the University of Toronto, Canada specializing in coronary and structural heart diseases (valve disorders). 

Professor Arbel manages the full range of heart problems, including risk factors for heart disease (blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, etc.), post-myocardial infarction care, heart failure, chest pain, and more. In addition to coronary and structural interventions (TAVI) to the heart, he also helps patients to achieve blood pressure control with renal denervation (RDN).

As the director of the CVRC, he has extensive experience with new forms of medications for cardiovascular medicine, such as PCSK9 inhibitors, GLP-1 inhibitors and SGLT2 inhibitors, omega 3, heart failure medications and more. In addition, he consults several medical sector start-up companies in digital health and medical devices. 

Professor Arbel has published over 200 articles in leading international medical journals, including European Heart Journal, JACC, Circulation and is frequently an invited speaker at national and international meetings on a wide range of subjects in cardiovascular medicine.

Professor Arbel is equally fluent in English and Hebrew, and he prides himself on his conscientious and indulgent attitude to his patients, always striving to achieve the best possible outcome for every one of them.
